About

My journey into film started the moment I finished my final A-Level Film exam in 2017. Instead of heading home, I went straight to 282 Video Production to begin an internship while deciding whether to study Film at university. It didn’t take long for me to realise that the hands-on experience of working on real productions was exactly where I wanted to be.

I spent seven months interning with Josh Lynch and Kieren Beauchamp at 282 before moving on to work across a wide range of productions, including creative films, music videos, commercials, and corporate content. During that time I took on many different roles — editing, producing, directing, assisting (camera, editing and production), sound, location management, and plenty of running. Those early years gave me a strong understanding of how productions work from the ground up.

Just before the pandemic, I worked as an Assistant Producer on WINGS, a short film starring Miriam Margolyes that tells the story of the Land Army Girls during the war. The film went on to win over 50 awards worldwide and qualified for both the BAFTAs and the Academy Awards.

When COVID paused much of the film industry, I took the opportunity to travel across Asia for six months while continuing to edit remotely for companies in the UK. When I returned, I launched my own production work alongside a full-time role in sales management, which I did for two years.

After that, I decided to pursue another long-standing interest and retrain as a carpenter. Woodworking had always been something I enjoyed, ever since my teenage years working in maintenance at Hever Castle. Unfortunately, after only a couple of months working in the trade, I was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis in my lower spine, which meant I had to rethink that path.

That experience ultimately led me back to the industry I love. Today, I work full-time as a freelance video editor and collaborate with clients on creative, engaging projects. With my background across multiple areas of production, I bring more than just editing to the table — I can also help with storyboarding, scriptwriting, production planning, marketing content, and much more.

If you’re looking for someone who understands the full creative process and enjoys bringing ideas to life on screen, I’d love to hear from you.
